Like most people you will likely have many questions about hypnotherapy. So to help you please find below some of the more common questions answered.
WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
This is a focused state of mind entered into voluntarily where you experience a deep sense of relaxation and focus on appropriate suggestions made by the therapist.
CAN ANYONE BE HYPNOTISED?
Mostly. The readiness and ability of patients to be hypnotised varies and hypnotherapy generally requires several sessions in order to achieve meaningful results.
ARE THERE ANY DANGERS?
NONE. You will be safe at all times and in a safe environment simply relaxed and comfortable.
WILL I TELL YOU MY SECRETS?
No. You are in full control of all you say and do. It is not like stage hypnosis and its not possible for you to do something that you would’nt ant to do.
WHAT DOES HYPNOSIS FEEL LIKE?
It is different for different people. In some cases the client feels very little, whilst others feel extremely relaxed and perhaps experiencing some heaviness in their arms or legs. Some remember most things but not all, this is the way the memory normally works. When we listen to a song or to a speech we don’t remember everything that we have heard, but we do recall most of it. The same applies with hypnosis.
